BLOG 4 - Time Travel to the Past or Future

Hello, welcome to my new blog. Today, I'll talk to you about the most interesting aspects of time travel, which are its possibilities and significant dangers. Although I admit that traveling through time might be entertaining, I wouldn't truly like to do it. I don't want to go to any past or future place; the mere idea of having that ability would distance us from who we are.

Changing an event in the past would lead to a complete alteration of my present, but would these changes be good or bad? Even in a worst-case scenario, the altered event would ensure that everything remains exactly as it always was because attempting to change something could provoke it, as otherwise, you would have never tried to prevent it from happening. In such a case, if it were possible, it presents the problem that in life, we cannot change who we are without destroying who we were, making it so that in that new reality, we may not even know what our identity is.

In the scenario where we could travel to the future and return to the present, what would we do with the acquired information? Even if we know what could or could not happen, we would be in constant chaos trying to change what was, what is, and what will be. Would our decisions still be ours? We would fall into a constant paradox of "which came first, the chicken or the egg?" People believe that time travel would be fun; however, it would be quite the opposite.

In conclusion, even if there were a thousand errors I wished to change, I wouldn't do it. Those mistakes shape who we are, and without them, we wouldn't be ourselves. Therefore, we are left with no choice but to live with them.
